Care to have your coffee with me? :)

View from my balcony.

This is something i wake up to every morning.
And i'm not sure if i'm proud to be in a place where i can see such beauty or if i just enjoy the sunlight that graces every single building and lights them in a way that only the Sun can.
Maybe a mixture of both....

I have my own set of prejudices even though i resolve not to have any!
Such was the one where i believed the best Sunrise would be the one you'd see on a mountain
and the best sunset is one you see on the sea.

How wrong I was!

I see my Sun rising from behind all these tall buildings in The New York City.
Sipping my coffee gazing at The Empire State moving to Chrysler holding it on the other buildings there... It is pure Bliss .... I sure wish that crane wasn't there though :)

Finding the beauty in things that surround you is always a good thing .. and this view definitely makes it easy for you :)

Makes me wonder how your sunset looks like ..

Yeah. I agree.

Also to add more...Somtimes its even better when you spend the sunrise/set with some resonance..;)..at those instances it doesnt really matter its mountains...beaches...downtowns or whatever...I have seen great ones on TVs too...lol...resonance and light...:) man.. V-day is sure round the corner!

Is that crane HUGE or is it just the proximity? I am never up at dawn but if I was, I would get a pretty good sunrise experience too I guess. But I love my before 'dragging myself out of bed' sleep a little too much.

Seeing night turn to day is really something else though.

cool...i wish i could bungee jump from that crane looking at the sunrise.....

have you driven up by JFK BLVD east in West New York at night.......there is a park...sit there and look at this great urban jungle and all its glory reflecting in the river....

isnt is actually better to stay on this side of the river than in the city itself :)

waking up in time to see the sun rise is a MOMENt in itself...and yeah, the sun lighting up everything in its steady path is a sight to cherish...

happy sipping :)

@ solitaire: oh yeah i know!

@ cosmic: mmmm...... my sunset is wonderful too. Although the sun will be on the other side of the building, you can see its reflection just about everywhere. Maybe i'll post that too someday :)

@ barath: ha haaaa sure i do, sometimes ;) and yes, i think it is the moment that matters but sometimes just being with urself can be a wonderful experience too.

@ deepali: Yep. Mumbai can be fantastic too in that sense. hey yaar, the crane is huge because of its proximity. Crane is in NJ while the buildings are in New York! that's how far it is;)

@ ceedy: he heee heee. you'll just top Tanya there with your antics! Never been to that park, will go there sometime. Also hudson runs next to my house, i only have to walk for 2 minutes and the city is there with all its glory with the reflection on the river et al... you bet we are lucky to be on the other side ;)

@ thinking loud: "lighting up everything in its steady path" .... wow! i liked this description better than mine :) and yes sunrise by itself is a beautiful phenomenon....
